The premise

One film. One night. Hundreds of theaters.

Leslie Vernon is coming back

“Bring him home.” — a line still being tried on.

The monster who believed he was the next great figure of horror mythology has been waiting for his sequel. This time the return is not something fans watch happen from a couch. It is something they arrange, town by town, and then fill the seats for.

The ambition

Two hundred
and fifty
towns

On one Wednesday night, Behind the Mask 2 opens in Salem, Massachusetts and in as many communities as Vernonites can organize. Every town that submits a screening request is one more theater in the same premiere.
